This plant is a great selection for smaller areas in a landscape or pots. It will mature into a 2’x2’ size while maintaining a tight form that resembles an artichoke. They are winter hardy down to 10 degrees and will well through cold damp winters, but still benefit from well drained soils to prevent root rot.
